Parkside Café Hosting Drive-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Party and “Ask the Doctor” with Local Black Physicians on July 10; First 25 Participants Receive a Free Meal

Former Cincinnati Bengal Jim Breech and other NFL players will join radio personalities Tropikana and Old School Lando and a live DJ

WHAT:  Parkside Café – with support from sponsors The Center for Closing the Health Gap, City of Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Interact for Health, Urban One, bi3, and The Wiz – is hosting a Drive-Up COVID-19 Vaccine Party on July 10 from 1-5 pm. The unique vaccination event is part of the Health Gap’s “We Must Save Us” Summer Series. The first 25 participants who take advantage of the free vaccinations will receive free dinners from Parkside Café.

The event will feature:

  • Radio personalities Tropikana and Old School Lando will host the party
  • “Ask the Doctor” panel will give residents a chance to ask COVID and health questions of local Black physicians
  • Former Cincinnati Bengal Jim Breech and other NFL players will be on hand
  • A live DJ will be playing music

All residents are welcomed to attend, especially those looking to receive their vaccine shots.
