This edition of Health Gap’s Virtual Town Hall Series for the Black Community discusses COVID’s Impact on our Youth. In partnership with The Cincinnati (OH) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, the Health Gap is hosts a panel of education leaders, health experts, and students to discuss the state of COVID-19 in our schools, how the new virus variants are affecting children, and what educators and parents can do to keep our families as safe as possible. Panelists include:
- Tianay Amat, Superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools
- Anthony Smith, Superintendent of Winton Woods School District
- Dawn Bailey, Principal at Lincoln Heights Elementary School
- Dr. Lou Edje, Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
- Two local students
The Virtual Town Hall Series is hosted by the Center for Closing the Health Gap and moderated by Cincinnati City Councilmember Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney and Tropikana.
