Food Distribution Events on 12/17 and 12/18

For families who need a little extra help putting food on the table in this most challenging year, there are two food distribution events coming up hosted by the Cincinnati Reds and Freestore Food Bank.

The Players Alliance: Pull Up Neighbor

Thursday, December 17
2:00-4:00pm

The Players Alliance “Pull Up Neighbor” event at Corinthian Baptist Church, 1920 Tennessee Avenue (45229). Food items, PPE supplies and baseball gear will be provided courtesy of The Players Alliance (TPA). The TPA is led by current and former Black MLB players and coaches who are hosting similar events in more than 30 cities over the next two months. Local MLB star, Josh Harrison, will serve as one of the hosts.

Freestore Foodbank Holiday Food Distribution

Friday, December 18
9:00am-4:00pm
Freestore Foodbank pre-holiday food distribution event at the Reds Youth Academy, 2026 E. Seymour Avenue (45237). The Reds Community Fund will co-host another pre-holiday event with Freestore Foodbank. More food and supplies will be available, including chicken or ham, holiday items, fresh produce and PPE gear.
